Kingdom Hearts: A Gradual Finale Part.7

~CHAPTER 7~

The cries of Kairi rang in Sora’s head endlessly, it was torture, pure torture, and he was powerless to it, but then he could feel a warm light envelop him, and he charged through, and out of the pool of darkness, he realized he was in some kind of armor, it had a greenish tint to it, next, he realized he had no control of his body, and he was holding his keyblade backhanded, heck, it wasn’t even his keyblade! He came down over Vanitas’ head, who barely dodged the oncoming attack, and he land on the other side of the arena, Roxas then could feel his limbs again as the spell ceased, and he crumpled to the ground “so, you show yourself at last…” Vanitas said, while he rose to his feet, Roxas stood as well “Sora?” he asked hoarsely, Sora nodded, though it was against his will, Sora would of done it anyway, the armor then turned translucent, and walked off of Sora’s body, Vanitas stared at it “time to rejoin with me” Vanitas said coyly, the armor shook it’s head “no, you’re out numbered, time to end this” it said, Vanitas grinned “then bring it on!” they all charged, but something was wrong, Sora began think as they pummeled him ‘there was no way he would win, what would happe-oh no….’

~OUTWARD~

Kairi had witnessed Sora/Vanitas, fight against Riku, with his entire power, and Riku was laying on the floor unconscious, Sora was about to kill him, Kairi yelled at him to stop, and it seemingly worked, but he then turned to Kairi “that’s it princess you’re gonna-” he collapsed mid-sentence, Kairi stood and inched closer to him, darkness oozed through his essence, and pores, that couldn’t be right….what had happened? If Sora won…wouldn’t the affect be opposite?

~INWARD~

Sora, Roxas and The armor, who had changed to a boy, (Ven) stood and watched, as Vanitas was kneeled on the ground, Sora stepped up, and struck him through his chest, Vanitas dissipated into darkness immediately, it soaked up the darkness on the ground, making one big puddle in the center, Sora looked down at it “what-?” he couldn’t even finish his sentence, the darkness swirled around his feet, climbing his legs, it was now up to his chest “Roxas! What’s happening!” he pleaded, Roxas took a step forward, but a dark light engulfed them as it covered Sora‘s face, they looked at Sora, seeing that he was in Anti-form, but it wasn’t just that, Sora WAS Anti-form, Sora beady yellow eyes, gazed steadily at Roxas, Sora’s his fingertips were now claws, and he had a dark aura around him, Sora was hunched over, and he twitched a lot like a shadow, without further warning, Sora lunged for Roxas, but he blocked, Sora held Roxas’ previous spot in the center of the room, before he sank into the floor, regaining control of the body, and darkness began flowing from the spot like vines, twisting and curling, the scenery changed, and Roxas and Ven were in what looked like the realm of darkness, but it wasn’t the real version, just a copy, Roxas glared at the moon, which shone brightly in the dark sky, as if it were it’s fault “we need to try and fight the darkness, with our light together, maybe we can bring his heart out of the darkness” Ven said, Roxas nodded, and they both closed there eyes, trying to fight the darkness that surrounded them.

~OUTWARD…AGAIN~

Kairi watched as Sora turned into his Anti-form, but it was like he WAS anti-form, she ran to Namine and Riku, and crouched beside them “what’s happening?” she whispered Riku sat up while rubbing his head “it’s Sora’s TRUE dark side…if we don’t stop it, it gets bigger…” he said, feeling guilty that he ever gave Sora’s shadow a form….Sora’s head jerked in they’re direction, and darted toward them, prepared to draw some blood as he flexed his palm, and brought it toward Riku, Riku lifted his blade and Sora’s hand passed trough it, turning to shadow, then solified again after it passed through Riku’s blade, and he pierced his arm deep, and blood dripped out of the new holes at were conveniently placed on Riku’s arm, Riku grunted in pain, and clenched his teeth, Kairi looked and Riku, and then at Sora, she summoned her keyblade, and knocked Sora back, tears streaking down her face, she hated doing this to Sora…but she had too….the Anti-Sora’s body looked like it wanted to move and attack her, but when she looked in it’s eyes, she saw the saddened eyes of the boy she fell in love with, she bit her bottom lip, and thought….”FREEZE!” she yelled out, and pointed her keyblade at him, and he was frozen, but not for long, the ice cracked and it sprang forward, he jumped to attack Kairi, his claw headed toward her heart, the details in his face…Kairi saw hesitation, and the eyes looked like they were about to cry, but right as he almost ran her through‘….Sora….’ “KAIRI!” one of Lea’s trusty chakrams hit Sora, sending his flying into the wall, Kairi’s head whipped to him and Xion “Kairi! Are you ok?” Xion asked while running forward, Kairi nodded and pointed to Sora “the darkness is overwhelming his body, his heart alone isn’t enough to stop it, but he is fighting…I can tell” Kairi said with nod, Xion looked at Lea, he gave a slow nod of his head, it was the all clear, Xion dashed to the Anti-Sora, it made an attempt to claw out her heart, but as it touched her, she disappeared into light, as she dove to Sora’s heart…

~INWARD…AGAIN~

Xion opened her eyes, and saw what looked like two Roxas’, but then she realized it was the boy that looked like Roxas, Ventus, they looked at her “Xion!” Roxas said, Ven nodded “we need a bigger source of light to rid him of the darkness” Ven said, Xion looked around “well, now you have me too!” she said faithfully, from the oceans shore, came Anti-Sora, his image flickered into Sora, but changed back, he pointed to them, and Anti-Sora clones appeared all around them, all of the dark Sora’s charged at Xion, Roxas, and Ven, they were able to escape the circle, and they collided into one Sora, Roxas charged the black clone, duel wielding again, the dark creature clawed his pant leg as Roxas jumped in a attempt to dodge the oncoming claw, and blood dripped down his leg, as he was right above Sora, the Anti jumped up, and positioned his claws on either side of Roxas’ chest, the right one on his left side, and so fourth, Sora ripped his arm to the other side, creating two gashes in Roxas’ chest, a yell escaping his mouth, Xion gasped and jumped behind the dark Sora and Ventus in front, while Sora was preoccupied with Ven, Xion attacked him from behind, causing Sora to fall in the waters, Xion healed Roxas with a high potion, and being Roxas took a lot of damage, he was still pretty bashed up, they walked to the waters edge, to look for the Anti clone, suddenly the water turned black with darkness, a massive black wave coming from the ocean, and washing over everyone, knocking Xion against a rock, knocking her out temporarily, Roxas jerked his head in her direction “Xion!” he yelled out as he attempted to dash to her, but Ventus stopped him “she’s fine, but we can’t afford to get distracted!” the look alike said, Roxas nodded confidently, then looked at the ground, the scattered darkness formed into the Anti again, he was in the middle of the beach area, but he vanished and warped in front of Roxas, he tried to hit the Anti, but he jumped back, Roxas held his two blades on either side of him, and charged, he made a few sweeps for Sora’s chest, but the Anti had dodged them all, Roxas glared and gritted his teeth, he made a swipe for the legs, but Sora jumped, Roxas stabbed at him mid-air, but Sora set his foot atop the blade and used it and a springboard, and back flipped to the ground, Roxas lunged and began his next wave of attacks, but Sora dodged them, then his leg shot up, and made contact with the side of Roxas’ face, sending him flying across the arena, a mumbled “ow~” came from Roxas’ direction, Ven actually had some hope for Roxas’ attack…oh well, his turn now, Ventus sung his keyblade around in the backhanded position, and he summoned his armor, he quickly dashed up to Sora, and swung backhandedly at the dark figure multiple times, Sora struggled to dodge, and did pretty well at doing so, but Ventus noticed that whenever he got close to Sora, he jumped back, preventing a hit…but he had an idea, Ven charged up next to Sora again, but mid-charge, he yelled “FIRE!” and fire circled around his body, and charred Sora chest, he kinda yelled/growled, Ven really couldn’t tell WHAT it was, must’ve been that way since he was a monster now…hm…then, something collided with his side, even though Ventus was wearing armor, the claws were so sharp, the it pierced through, Roxas grunted, in pain and he was flung to the side, but since Ventus was apart of Sora’s heart, it dealt damage on HIM too, he gripped at his chest, and slowed down dramatically, a bright/dark light emitted from the rock that Xion was laying by, she arose from behind the rock, in the armor that she wore when she attacked Roxas, and she her keyblade glowed brightly with light…until that’s all it was, it WAS light, she surged forward and stabbed Sora through the heart with it, warming his heart, and melting the darkness off of it, the dark Sora clawed at the spot where his heart was pierced, and he the darkness then melted off his body, and it returned to the depth of the waters…the light grew brightly until the scene was restored to it’s usual black void, and stain glass floor, Xion’s armor and “Lightblade”  disappeared, as did Ven’s armor, and he, himself, slowly began to fade back into the depths of Sora’s heart, Xion cast ‘curaga’ on all of them before Ven was fully gone, Ven nodded his thanks, and was gone…Roxas and Xion glanced at each other “ready to go home?” Roxas asked, Xion nodded and smiled, and they faded into light, and left Sora’s heart…





~do I even need to say it?…~

Kairi and Lea were dodging Sora’s attacks, but he then rapidly slowed down, more and more, until he completely froze, and then…collapsed, the darkness melting off his body, leaving just…Sora, Kairi surged forward and knelt beside him, while Namine ran to Roxas as he reappeared, and Riku was still left with five deep holes in his arms…(sorry Riku XD) but don’t worry, someone helped him out…eventually…

After awhile of Sora angsting and people recovering and whatnot, they all left the room, and Sora locked the door behind him (like a good boy XD) they then went down a flight of steps, but found themselves in what looked like the same spot, except the realm of “nothingness” was open “what?” Sora asked as he glanced around at everyone “here…” Lea said and pulled Sora in by his forearm, Sora saw the sleeping Ventus in the throne-like-chair, Lea gestured toward him, Sora looked uneasily at Lea, but Lea just smirked, Sora steadily stepped up to Ventus, he touched his chest, where his heart would be, then a bright warm light enveloped them, and Sora winced as he was practically blinded and his hair was being blown like crazy everywhere, a light left his heart, and into Ven’s body, Ven slowly fluttered his eyes open, and saw Lea and Sora “wh-what…?” he uttered sleepily while rubbing his eyes, Sora helped him out of he chair, and led they walked out, everyone clapped “Ven…you helped save Sora…right?” Kairi asked and took a step forward, he nodded “y-yeah…I guess I did…” he said shyly, Kairi smiled “thank you…” Kairi smiled and turned to Sora and hugged him “so since you helped us, were gonna help you” Riku said (with a newly bandaged arm XD) Ventus looked startled “what….what do you mean?” he asked and glanced around “well, you helped us get out friend back…we’ll help you get yours back…” Namine said, everyone nodded in agreement, Ventus smiled warmly at the group “….Thanks guys…”
